Yesterday, there was a special Gamescom Livestream wherein Microsoft formally announced the much-awaited Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition. Immediately after the announcement, the pre-order facility started, and apparently, people were desperate to own one of these sexy new consoles. No wonder, the device sold out in no time.

While the biggest retailers of the gaming console GamesStop and Amazon have already exhausted their Xbox One Project Scorpio Edition stocks, reports came in that the device is sold out even on the official Microsoft Store. However, you don’t need to completely lose heart as apparently Walmart and Best Buy still have units up for grabs and if you want one then make a move right away!

Here, we wish to clarify that only the limited stock Scorpio Edition’s Pre-orders are on, but, not for the standard Xbox One X that will hit the markets on November 7. Therefore, if you are not too bothered about the looks of your console, then you will have a good chance of owning an Xbox One X later.

Let’s see in detail about what Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition has to offer:

The device has “Project Scorpio” etched on the system as well as the controller in the custom Xbox neon green color and the console’s shell sports a “dynamic graphic pattern”. Other than the add-on graphics and looks, there is no difference between a standard Xbox One X and the Project Scorpio Edition. There is no extra features or variance in configuration. Even the price for both the devices is the same – 500$.

The upcoming Xbox One X is going to be the first gaming console to offer true 4k gaming to the public. It comes with eight x86 Jaguar 2.3 GHz cores, 1172 MHz GPU, 40 customized compute units and offers 12 GB GDDR5 memory. As per Microsoft, more than 100 favorite games have been specially enhanced for the Xbox One X scheduled for launch on November 7.
