Will Poulter has often heard people say that he looks identical to Sid from Toy Story. Therefore, The Maze Runner actor decided to utilize this resemblance for a good cause during his Halloween dress up.
Poulter used Twitter to share his costume of the Disney/Pixar bully and also highlighted the Anty-Bullying Pro, a cause for which the British Diana Award anti-bullying organization works and Poulter represent as an ambassador.
“This Halloween I thought I should respond to the comparisons with Disney Pixars biggest bully next door and go as Sid from Toy Story!” Poulter captioned the photo. “In addition to having a laugh at your expense, I wanted to try and raise some attention for a cause I am an ambassador for! @antibullyingpro.”
Poulter’s message clarified that October is commemorated as Bullying Prevention Month in the US whereas the UK anti-bullying week is coming up and he wanted to spread the word to support the cause of “to make school a safer and happier place for young people.”
He has chosen an ideal costume for the message as, throughout the Disney film Toy Story, Sid had been terrorizing and hurting toys and that caused Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and others to face a lot of challenges. The unmistakable similarity of Poulter to the animated character and his exact reproduction of the skull t-shirt of Sid and other props ensured that not only he bested his Halloween look, but, undertook a noble task in the process.
