This is also the second film in the latest Star Wars sequel trilogy. It began with Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015. The movie has Luke training Rey to become maybe the last, Jedi. The Resistance, which includes Poe Dameron and First Order defector Finn, continue to fight against the First Order. This happens while Supreme Leader Snoke and his Dark Side follower Kylo Ren continue their mysterious plot.
