Mark Hamill Kidnapped By The Joker In New Justice League Action Short

Things have become quite unusual in the latest short issue of Justice League Action.

We all know how Mark Hamill has been an absolute icon in DC world courtesy the numerous voiceover roles he has done in TV shows, films and video games over the last two decades. However, we have never seen him give voice to every character on screen simultaneously. At least that’s how it was until now.

In “Missing the Mark” the Joker and the Trickster join hands to abduct the “famous movie star” Mark Hamill in anticipation of getting a huge ransom. Hamill revealed the short via Twitter and gave it a hilarious caption: “The only time I’ve ever done anything while sleeping with the entire cast.”

Hamill has been playing The Joker and The Trickster for a long time now. He had given the voice to the Gotham villain 25 years ago in Batman: The Animated Series and has remained to be the preferred voice-actor for the legendary villain. He debuted as the Trickster in the live-action Flash series in 1990, and that’s a role he has again played in The CW’s modern version of The Flash. He was also “the 2nd rate villain” in some animated projects including Justice League Action. Hamill has given the voices for Swamp Thing in this short too, which is the newest addition to his long list of DC performances.

In case, you are not familiar with Justice League Action; the series has a lot of the same members that feature in Justice League and its sequel Justice League Unlimited from the 2000s. This has only increased the pace, sharpness, and fun to make the episodes shorter and quick stomach hurting laughter doses. Some of the fans don’t like it, but, it is not easy to keep disliking a show which provides you the opportunity of listening to Mark Hamill talking to himself under four other names. Isn’t it?
