For the major fans of the Star Trek franchise, there is a royal couple in the making. Adam Nimoy (son of Leonard Nimoy, the legendary actor who played Spock) and Terry Farell (who played Jadzia Dax on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) announced their engagement.
We only recently came to know about the relationship of the couple, when Nimoy interviewed Farell during the Star Trek Las Vegas convention.
Later on, film critic (and huge Star Trek fan) Scott Mantz announced the engagement of the two Star Trek powerhouses. Farell, touched by the response of fans, thanked them in a very Trekkie way.

Most of us know Adam Nimoy as the son of beloved Leonard “Spock” Nimoy. However, Adam had been a part of the franchise for quite a long time. During Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Nimoy was assistant director. Later on, he directed two episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
After the death of his father, Nimoy used Kickstarter to create a documentary called “For the love of Spock.” In it, Adam talked about his father and his relationship with the iconic character he played.
Currently, Nimoy is creating a documentary called “What We Left Behind.” Based on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, the documentary would consist of extensive interviews with the cast and crew behind it. The documentary might be released on the 25th anniversary of Deep Space Nine.
On the other hand, Farell left the role of Jadzia Dax after her contract expired in the sixth season. Looking back, she wishes that she could have been the part of the show a little longer. Even so, Farell is quite active among the Star Trek fandom and routinely gets into the costume to the delight of her fans.
