The much anticipated Jonny Quest movie is moving forward rapidly towards the production Phase. The “Pirates of Carribean” fame director Robert Rodriguez had started his work on the script last year. However, he won’t be directing the movie. Somebody from Forbes got their hands on the script for a cursory read, and they told that it’s a significant film in Hanna Barbara’s movie universe, and its tentpole nature can give rise to many spin-offs and franchises that have tons of potential. Current director choices are Justin Lin (Fast & Furious 6, Star Trek Beyond), Scott Derrickson (Doctor Strange) and Joe Cornish (Attack the Block). Forbes has released a wealth of interesting information about the plot, according to them this live-action movie is based upon the Hanna Barbara’s 60’s version of Jonny Quest, the film will depict how Bannon and Quest Family met, it’s most probably set in Africa because they will be introducing Hadji, and Jade has a significant role to play in the movie. As we have mentioned before this is a foundation movie for the Hanna Barbara’s live-action universe, hence they are seeking dominant actors of the Hollywood, these are the names that are being considered for unconfirmed roles :-
