Avengers: Infinity War trailer showed the Winter Soldier with a new metallic arm when the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes get ready to battle Mad Titan’s invading army of Black Order in Wakanda. Anthony Russo, director of the movie, said that the time Bucky Barnes spent in the African country was related to that new metallic limb.

“For everyone who’s seen Captain America: Civil War, they know Bucky was taken in by T’Challa in Wakanda,” Russo told Express UK.  “I think that you know, we catch back up with him after he’s been there for a while. And if there’s an influence on his arm, it may perhaps have to do with that country that he’s been spending time in.”

Sebastian Stan’s character Winter Soldier was last seen in the mid-credit scene of Captain America: Civil War when he was being put into Cryogenic sleep again. Bucky lost his mechanical arm which the Iron-Man had blown off during the final battle of the movie. If Wakanda is attacked, it would be beneficial for the Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) to give Bucky a new arm made of Vibranium, the rare and indestructible metal that was earlier used in making Captain America’s shield and is exclusively found in Wakanda only.

The most highly anticipated film of the year, Avengers: Infinity War is directed by the director duo of Anthony and Joe Russo. The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie.

Avengers: Infinity War will release on May 4, 2018.
