In the earlier episodes of this season, we saw romance blossoming between Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen and this passion reached its pinnacle with the two getting into bed together. Now, this development has left the fans torn about whether to support the great chemistry between the two or the incest angle highlighted by a voiceover during the scenes of intimacy between the aunt and nephew.
It’s not just the fans who are rattled with this romance, but, the two actors playing the roles are also not too cool about it either. In a recent HBO cast commentary video, Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) said:

On a lighter note, Harington added that he liked looking at Clarke during the filming and used to pretend to gag before proceeding to do the next take.
“I think it’s an inevitability from about halfway through the season that Jon and Daenerys are gonna fall into bed together,” Harington said.
Peter Dinklage (Daenerys’s advisor Tyrion Lannister) who is shown to be a witness to Jon’s night expeditions into Daenerys’ chambers is apprehensive about an unhappy ending to this romantic liaison.
“It’s ‘Game of Thrones,’ there’s a long history of romance not ending well on this show,” he said.
Jon’s bloodline (he is the real son of Rhaegar Targaryen, the elder sibling of Daenerys’) is likely to cause turmoil in the final season because he will become the valid heir to the Iron throne (In case anybody bothered about the lineage anyway). This claim will give a new angle to the set of the current contenders for the throne. This is also likely to put out the flames of romance between him and Daenerys because she won’t be willing to give up her claim to the throne, not even in favor of her new lover cum nephew, Jon.
