Robert VanCamp, an animal nutritionist, hired her to deliver the food to clients around her hometown. VanCamp loved to dance and started dancing at the age of three. She convinced her parents into sending her in a summer camp in Montreal with the motive to become a professional dancer one day.

She starred in his show Everwood and with her role; the young actress got the recognition and 4 nominations of Teen Choice Awards and one nomination for the Young Artist Awards.
