It’s ironical that Star Wars, the ultimate mega-franchise, didn’t make a lot “Stars” out of the actors who worked on it. In fact, a lot of them had a tough time finding a proper role in other movies that could have given them a chance to break the stereotypical persona created by Star Wars. In this article, we are going to check out some of the actors, who have openly talked about facing a hard time in industry after the Star Wars prequels bombed in the eyes of the fans. Here are the artists whose careers took a hit due to Star Wars:-
1) Jake Lloyd, Star Wars: Episode I
He is one of the folks in the cast of Star Wars prequel who took the worse blow than anybody else, and the sad part is that he was just a kid, when all of this happened to him. Here is what he has to say after the prequels met with an awful poor response from the fans:-
“Other children were really mean to me. They would make the sound of the lightsaber every time they saw me. It was totally mad. I’ve learned to hate it when the cameras are pointed at me”.
He is currently diagnosed with schizophrenia and has decided never to act again. He has also told that after the failure of prequels, most of his life has been a “Living Hell.” Jake has been indicted many times due to drugs-related crimes.
2) Natalie Portman
She is one of the most talented actresses of the Hollywood. However, when the prequels were destroyed by the fans and critics alike, her professional career was going through an adverse metamorphosis. According to her:
“I was in the biggest-grossing movie of the decade, and no director wanted to work with me. Everyone thought I was a horrible actress.”
She has openly said that she has not seen the Episode VII and did not plan to do so, EVER!
