Who is Winifer Fernandez? She is a gold medal, winning volleyball player from the Dominican Republic. Winifer was born on 6th January 1995 in Santiago Province, Dominican Republic. She accepted the gold medal at the 2016 Pan-American Volleyball Cup with her Dominican Republic team.
Winifer has also earned the silver medal with her team at the 2015 N.O.R.C.E.C.A. Championships. Though Winifer started playing volleyball at a groaner young age, she could not catch the public’s attention. Through her hard work and strong determination, she was finally chosen to the junior national team in 2009.

Along with the Dominican club Santiago, she has earned the bronze medal. Winifer accepted the Santiago province championship and was rewarded the Best Libero award in 2009.

During the period, Winifer was engaged with the club, Cienfuegos. She has fiddled the 2011 Girls’ Youth Pan-American Cup and has won the bronze medal. In 2012, Winifer led the team in Junior N.O.R.C.E.C.A. Championship and won the Gold medal.

Later, she and her national team captured the gold medal in the 2012 U23 Pan-American Cup. In the year 2015, she enlisted the Dominican club Mirador. During her time, Winifer has received awards in the individual category comprising the Best Digger, Best Receiver, Best Libero, Most Valuable Player, and much more.
