Robin might be heading the Titans. However, it seems that Dick Grayson’s version of the Batman might feature in the series too.
That Hashtag Show has reported about two new casting details related to the DC’s live-action Titans series, suggesting that Bruce Wayne might be seen in a repeat role.
Have a look:
“[DAVE STORY]Male, mid 30s-40s, Caucasian. The downfalls of others only make this man stronger. Polished Unwavering. Think a young Jack Nicholson. RECURRING GUEST STAR.”
Agreed that it is not clearly mentioned that it is about Bruce Wayne, but, it implies the same. The qualities of “polished” and “unwavering” are very much like the hidden persona of Batman. A lot of people would like to explain Christian Bale’s sophisticated portrayal of Batman as a younger version of Jack Nicholson.
Besides, we must pay more attention to the “recurring guest star” phrase. Instead of being called a side character or a repeat role, it is listed as a guest star, suggesting that the actor who plays the role will be well established and that there will be guest star credits for the episodes depicting them.
The first glimpse of Brenton Thwaites’ Dick Grayson was unveiled recently, and it showed that he was still in the role of Robin and not Nightwing. Keeping that in mind, it is logical that Dick is not through with his time of operating with Batman.
Titans is scheduled to debut in 2018 on the upcoming streaming platform from DC.
