Bruce Wayne took up the mantle of Batman because he saw his parents getting murdered in front of his own eyes during his childhood and also the fact that he was scared of the Bats. Tony’s scientific and technological knowledge is more evolved, and he even managed to create an entirely new element, but, Bruce, on the other hand, is the top detective and a genius with mastery over various Martial Arts. He can endure much longer if he was to fight without his suit and this makes him a winner.

The people around Bruce Wayne have contributed immensely to make him what he is today. Alfred, Fox and Jim Gordon have all been a great motivation for Bruce to be the Batman. On the contrary, Tony is surrounded by technology and doesn’t have much of a human contact or influence to motivate him. Here also Bruce Wayne is a clear winner.
