5. The New Adventures of Jonny Quest

Idea: Jonny Quest ventures to the far corners of the world with the Quest group, exploring science fiction mysteries.
Why It Could Succeed: Taking the lead from the mainstream 1960’s Hanna-Barbera cartoon, Jonny Quest offered a second dosage of fun globe-trotting experience with different and cunning sci-fi set-ups. The show highlights an amusing cast of side characters, Dr. Benton Quest (father and scientist), Race Bannon (An Intelligence One Agent), Hadji Singh (Best Buddy), and Bandit (the dog). Each has novel expertise sets that would make for fascinating group minutes and comical chat and interplays. The film version could transform the best cartoon scenes into a solitary Indiana Jones-style enterprise, one where alien technology gels really well.
6. Captain Planet
With the right director and the right script, Captain Planet could be a batty yet fun take on Superman. It could focus on environmentalism and super hero-ing.
