Aquaman vs. Thor: Battle of the Kings!
This is one battle which deserves a cinematic adaptation. The Mighty Thor taking on The King of Atlantis would be a fabulous match up! Aquaman is arguably the most under-rated superhero in the DC Universe, but, things will change real soon because Aqua-Momoa is coming on the big screen. Pitted against Thor, he would appear quite an even match, and he is among the strongest guys in the Justice League who is capable of packing an impactful punch like Thor. If these two battle, then it will be an epic face off. Let’s see which one of the two will win the battle of the Gods!
Aquaman
The King of Atlantis, the underwater kingdom of Atlantean, Arthur Curry is blessed with tremendous physical prowess. He can swim non stop for hours, is a dozen times faster in motion than a normal human, can jump up four storeys high and is an unbelievable weightlifter. His superhuman strength is 150x a normal man; he has durability, longevity, agility and super healing powers. Not only this, he is blessed with super speed, can withstand heat and has telepathic communication with the creatures inhabiting the water world. His Trident of Neptune can rip through even the skin of Man of Steel.
The hybrid between humans and Atlanteans is the connecting bridge between the underwater Atlantis residents and humans on terra firma. He is among the most powerful members of the Justice League and plays a vital role in the team. His Trident of Neptune can invoke electricity and helps him teleport. These are effective powers in battling the thunder attack from Thor.
Thor
The son of Odin is the present king of Asgard and the protector of all nine realms. He wields a magical hammer called Mjolnir which gives him control over thunder and lets him fly. He is the only one able to pick up the mighty hammer which only a worthy being can lift. Mijolnir is his hammer and his best pal.
When pushed to a corner, Thor only needs to summon the hammer and no matter where it is; it zips in to rescue Thor. Thor can fly, manipulate electricity as well as weather and also travel across dimensions. Besides that he has superhuman strength, speed, endurance, and longevity.
He is no pushover for any enemy without the Mijolnir either as his body houses electricity, and he can summon an electric thunder even without Mjolnir. Not only that his Magic belt gives several mystical powers and increases his strength.
Aquaman vs. Thor: Death Battle
They are both nearly matched, and any battle between them will be nasty and long-lasting as despite looking similar, they are quite different. Aquaman is not capable of flying but he rules water and Marine life which can benefit him against Thor, and if the battle be under-water then he can beat the Thor too. However, Thor flies and one mighty bolt of Thor lightning can kill the whole marine life. Therefore, the battle would ultimately be a fist fight, and the stronger of the two will win as both have thunder attacks and teleportation powers.
Aquaman would seem to have physical superiority over Thor, but, the latter’s mystical powers enhance his strength, and that would help him beat Aquaman. Therefore, the winner of the Thor vs. Aquaman battle royal will be The Son of Odin.
