After a scene depicting a flashback of a marriage scene involving Rhaegar and Lyanna Stark, die-hard fans of Game of Thrones may have now figured out the man who would be playing the role of Rhaegar Targaryen on Game of Thrones season 7.
To confirm the theory, the latest episode showed Gilly reading a book where it was stated that Rhaegar annulled his marriage to Elia Martell and had a secret marriage in Dorne.
Fans are left confused if Rhaegar kidnapped Lyanna and got her pregnant with Jon Snow. Also, Jon now has a strong claim to the Throne as he is a Targaryen.
A very crucial part of the plot has been revealed and there is a possibility of the marriage scene being a part of one of the following episodes. There have been a few tweets going around suggesting that Wilf Scolding will be playing the role of Rhaegar Targaryen.
“Its in the HBO leaked file, we can’t show full image because there’s personal information. But he’s on the list under ‘Rhaegar’,” the Reddit post says.
This scene not only confirms the fans’ assumption but also proves whether Lyanna willingly took part in this marriage.
