Award-winning British journalism and television presenter Susanna Reid recently graced the headlines of the Daily Mail when co-worker Piers Morgan confessed to the duo always having each other’s backs and praised the ‘brutally honest’ relationship he shared with Reid after a year of very difficult shows in ‘Good Morning Britain’.
Reid is a journalist who gained recognition when she co-presented ‘BBC Breakfast’ from 2003 till 2014 with co-presenter Bill Turnbill and Charlie Stayt. She has also worked with Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard in the ITV Breaksfast Program ‘Good Morning Britain’.

Bord on 10th December, 1970, Reid hails from Croydon in South London. She pursues her school education from Croham Hurst School, Croydon High School and St. Paul’s Girls’ School. She studied Law, Philosophy and Politics at the University of Bristol where she also had a run as the editor of the student newspaper, Epigram.

She pursued broadcast journalism for her diploma during her post graduate education from the Cardiff School of Journalism. As a child, Reid has worked as a child actor in films such as Spider’s Web (1982) and worked in the Channel 4 series The Price (1985).

After university, she began working for BBC Radio Briston and later, went on to work as a reporter and a producer for Radio 5 Live.

She initially worked as a reporter in BBC News 24 but the 11 pm presenter of the channel not showing up one night caused her to fill in for them as presenter that helped achieve her breakthrough in broadcast journalism and become a presenter for BBC.

She worked for BBC for 2 decades and later shifted to ITV where she co-presented in GMB with Piers Morgan. She has received the Best TV Presenter and Celebrity Personality of the Year Award multiple times.

Reid was married to former sports correspondent Dominic Cotton for 16 years until the couple decided to split in 2014. Together, they have three children: Finn, Jack and Sam Cotton. Her net worth is $10 million.
