While the speculation had been there for some time, finally John Boyega has validated the gossip about Tom Hardy, Prince William and Prince Harry playing cameos in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
He shared this information during an interview on BBC Radio 4 (as reported by Screen Daily). He spilled the beans on the fact that both the British Royals have already done their filming and also confirmed the presence of Tom Hardy by saying that he is no longer able to preserve the secret anymore.
“I’ve had enough with those secrets. They came on set. They were there. I’m sick of hiding it. I think it was leaked, anyway. There were images. Every time I get asked, I have to dodge it. I’m tired of dodging it. They were there. So was Tom Hardy.”
We know that this orchestrated revelation couldn’t have come without the sanction of LucasFilm because its tone is such an artificial and calculated. As a part of such an iconic production, he must have received ample briefings on every aspect of his conduct especially when it comes to revealing things which are not that much of a surprise.
Even then a formal confirmation of the Royal Princess and Tom Hardy playing a part in this film which comes on the heels of a large number of cameos witnessed in The Force Awakens. In fact, we feel that these couldn’t just be the only cameos set to feature in the film that is scheduled to release in December.
