Star Wars: The Force Awakens ushered in one of the most complex and intriguing characters in the saga when Kylo Ren appeared on the screen. His antics continued and became even more complex in The Last Jedi. Adam Driver has been immensely praised for his work as Kylo Ren. However, the internet is of the opinion that if there were an actor needed to play an aged version of Kylo Ren, then Keanu Reeves would be the best option.

Comic book artist Mark Millar used Twitter to display the similarities between the two actors, and it was difficult for fans to find out which was the original photo.

Millar instantly found resonance in his followers while he teased various mashups between the movies featuring Kylo Ren and Keanu Reeves.

Episode IX is all set to begin filming early in 2018, and it is assumed that the film won’t have a great gap between its events and the events of The Last Jedi, but, probably sometime down the line, Reeves might provide his acting skills.

Their biggest similarity is their hairstyles. However, concept art for The Last Jedi had recently disclosed how Kylo was set to sport a very different look.

The book The Art of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, by Phil Szostak, revealed that at one point, Kylo was conceptualized as a bald character. It is not known though, whether this look was sported by the Sith before the happenings of The Last Jedi or whether during any time in the original script, he had shaved his head.

Kylo’s biggest driving factors in The Last Jedi happened to destroy his past. Therefore, it would have made logic that he aimed to get rid of his earlier image in totality. The First Order has always featured well-groomed officers, and that would have made Kylo’s bald head a clear sign of his not being a member of the military organization.

The other option was that since both Darth Vader and Supreme Leader Snoke were bald, Kylo had tried copying them, just like how he desired to wear a helmet which had no other utility than to make him look menacing.

You can see Adam Driver as Kylo Ren in The Last Jedi, which is currently playing in theaters.
