Star Wars Episode VIII – 10 Things That We Already Know.

6. The Code Name

Okay, so the real name of the movie is not yet actually known. But we do know what they are calling it right now. Space Bear. Yup, be it a case of them being tight lipped or that they haven’t given it a name yet but that is what they’re calling it – Space Bear. This is perhaps the best code name for a film we’ve heard in a while; during filming, The Force Awakens was known as Foodles Production Ltd, while Blue Harvestwas what Return of the Jedi was known as. But Space Bear tops them all. With this kind of code name, this movie ought to have a lot of Chewie in it – or at least some ewoks, if not, we will be sorely disappointed and will be making a complaint to advertising standards.

5. The Script

Our ears have been given some excitement by some little titbits about the script. According to a lot of people involved with it, it is very, very good but they wouldn’t go beyond that and give away more information. Well, if it wasn’t good, we wouldn’t expect them to be filming it. The most telling piece of information that we have so far has come from John Boyega. He has described the script as “being very dark – much darker than The Force Awakens.” Could we be about to see KyloRen being inflicted with some more before he chooses which side to stick with? Or if he does choose the Dark Side, will his choice of the Dark Side lead to more heartache for our heroes?
