Whether we like it or not, the truth is that Avengers are not going to exist much longer in the form that we have come to love so much. Captain America, Thor, Iron-Man and the team are headed towards the exit. Marvel is bringing in so many new characters into their cinematic universe, and there is not ample space for all to stay and flourish. The only thing to watch is whether the characters get killed out or simply written out in the manner of the baton being transferred to the next generation. It is well known that most of the original actors are nearing the end of their MCU contracts.

While all this is not going to happen in Infinity War, it is definitely Avengers 4 that will shut the door on the old bunch. At least to some extent.

The scoop says that Avengers 5 will be a part of the Phase 4 and these will be called either New Avengers or Mighty Avengers. Other than that, the team will feature Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, the Wasp and maybe Moon Knight who is getting ready for an MCU debut. James Gunn is definitely pushing his case, and that means it is quite possible.
We must again say that this is all speculation and must be considered only a rumor. Despite that, the chances of it happening are real because the above-listed heroes are being developed to represent the franchise in future and it is true that the team led by Tony Stark is not going to stay in MCU till Infinity.
Either way, the answers would start tumbling out soon because of Avengers: Infinity War is just about seven months away, and it is bound to be the film that starts the process.
