2018 has arrived and while several of the movie stars are posting New Year’s greetings, Avengers’ Robert Downey Jr. is not only sharing good wishes but, reminding people that there is a special thing to look forward to.
Downey shared an image showing the Avengers: Infinity War release date of May 4, 2018, on his Instagram account. Have a look at it below:
Downey is famous for his frequent funny social media messages, such as a recent sharing of a fan-created Avengers Christmas greeting he spotted on Tumblr, and now this New Year’s post telling fans about the upcoming Avengers 3. Fans must have already marked the release date of the most awaited film of the year on their calendars, and the post does little more than tease the fans about the fact that May is quite close yet several months away. Downey also recently hinted about what the fans might see in the upcoming film.
Robert Downey Jr. recently appeared in an interview with USA Today, and he said that the movie would witness another face-off between Tony Stark/Iron-Man and Chris Evans/Steve Rogers/Captain America. They were last seen in an argument that had led to a split among the Avengers. Now the challenge posed by the Mad Titans will bring them together on the same side, but, that doesn’t imply that things will be better on a personal level between the two.
“That’s the hardest for me because I look at Evans and me just to want to go over and smell him or tell him he looks cool in those sunglasses when he’s walking over to have lunch.” Downey clarified. “And then I’m just staring daggers at him, getting mad.”
Avengers: Infinity War is scheduled for a cinematic release on May 4, 2018.
