The year of 2016 was catastrophic for the great artists; it took away a lot of good ones from our world. Among those celebrated artists, one of them was Carrie Fisher, the bad-ass princess of the massive Star Wars realm.
A couple of days back Coroner’s report was released, which confirmed that Sleep Apnea and fattening of tissues in arteries caused Carrie’s death.
In addition to that recently, some more controversial reveals have come forward from the autopsy reports. The post-mortem records show that Carrie had ingested drugs like Heroin, Cocaine, Morphine and even Ecstacy just three days before the day she was admitted to the hospital when she got ill on the flight. After that, she struggled for next four days in the hospital before she passed away.
However, Coroner’s office does not believe that these drugs had any real impact on the factors responsible for her death. Carrie Fisher’s family members are not so comfortable with the report being public. But still family members kept their cool her brother, Todd Fisher, told the public that:-
“I would tell you, from my perspective that there’s certainly no news that Carrie did drugs, I am not shocked that part of her health was affected by drugs,”
Carrie is not the first celebrity who consumed questionable drugs, but the most shocking thing over here is that Carrie kept on telling her fans that she is clean now.
But don’t be so quick to judge, as, on the flip-side of the coin, Carrie battled with mental illness throughout her life. She was using “Ganja” at the age of 13, by 21 she was on to illegal drugs like LSD and Cocaine. She had to go through electroshock therapy to calm her from her bipolar demons.
When this news reached the fans, most of us were not surprised, because even though Carrie told the press that she was off the drugs, many of her interviews were absurdly weird, and it didn’t take a Sherlock to figure out, it was not just the alcohol.
