If you stay in Hollywood action for a long time, then there will come a time when you will see your replica. New talent replaces the iconic performers. However, Mark Hamill is having a laugh at the expense of the actor aiming to replace him. Recently, the legendary Star Wars actor stated on Twitter that he is well aware of the fact that Sebastian Stan looks like his doppelganger.
Hamill shared a social media message for all the nerdy fans of Star Wars. He shared a younger image of himself alongside a viral image of Stan.
He wrote the following caption for the image, “Sorry to disappoint you but I refuse to say “Sebastian Stan – I AM YOUR FATHER!” (even though, in fact, I am).”
He also went on to add a winking emoji and hashtags like “Sorry Not Sorry” and “My Son Sebastian.” Thus, it is apparent that Hamill is well versed with the tools that make things viral on the internet.
There has been a lot of comparison between Hamill and Stan for quite some time now. In fact, their doppelganger meme had become extremely popular in 2016 during the build-up to the release of Captain America: Civil War. There were photos all over the internet which compared Hamill from his Luke Skywalker days and an edited image of Stan as the Jedi. In fact, they looked so similar that you couldn’t easily differentiate between the headshots. This gave birth to the jokes about Hamill being Stan’s daddy.
It is not the first time that Hamill has made fun of his identical appearance with Stan. However, fans are going crazy about his latest tweet. Have a look below at some of the best responses that the icon’s tweet received:
It seems like Sebastian is also in agreement with his Hollywood father and not denying things the way Luke denied about Darth Vader.
It is not an easy thing to shock Tony Stark, and if your family history manages to rattle him, then you must have got your moves right. There is no way you can ignore the similarities between Sebastian and Mark after having seen these pictures.
It won’t be long before the comparisons crop up between Bucky Barnes and Luke Skywalker which makes us wonder if Tatooine and Brooklyn are the same places in alternate worlds.
Sebastian Stan is not active on Twitter, but, he probably loves Instagram. It seems like the Captain America star saw Mark’s tweet being reposted on Instagram and he had a good laugh about it.
However, it will require a great deal of messing with timelines if The Flash wanted to create a Marvel and Star Wars crossover. One thing we can be sure about is that there is definitely an imagination among fans about such a thing.
