The legendary Luke Skywalker aka Mark Hamill from Star Wars: The Last Jedi is a powerful force on Twitter and the star who has played the character of Luke Skywalker for four decades tore into Texas Senator Ted Cruz a day after he had ripped apart the FCC Chairman Ajit Pai, who scored a self-goal by creating a demeaning anti-net neutrality video that was a live-action version of “how do you do, fellow kids?” meme.

“Luke,” Cruz addressed Hamill by the name of his iconic movie character “I know Hollywood can be confusing, but it was Vader who supported govt power over everything said & done on the Internet.”

Cruz had tweeted in response to Hamill’s criticism twitter of Pai’s video where Pai, the poster boy of the anti-net neutrality campaign was shown wielding a lightsaber.

“A Jedi acts selflessly for the common man, not lie to enrich giant corporations,” Hamill said and called Pai “profoundly unworthy” of wielding the iconic Jedi weapon.

Thanks for smarm-spaining it to me,” Hamill wrote while responding to Cruz’s series of tweets. “I know politics can be confusing, but you’d have more credibility if you spelled my name correctly. I mean IT’S RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF YOU!”

Maybe you’re just distracted from watching porn at the office again,” Hamill said, quoting a September incident when Ted Cruz’s official Twitter account “liked” a pornographic tweet. The Senator later said that the social media faux pas was caused by a staffer.

Hamill is famous for criticizing various politicians on Twitter, and the list includes President Donald Trump, whom Hamill mocked by reading his tweets in his Joker voice from Batman: The Animated Series.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is currently playing in theaters all over the world.
