Kim Garam, professionally known as Garam, is a South Korean pop artist. Kim was born on 16th November 2005 in Sangju, South Korea. Kim is currently under Source Music as a part of the Girl group LE SSERAFIM. The group made its debut on May 2, 2022, their debut album being fearless.
Kim was rejected by Source Music (HYBE) in their 2018 audition after which returned and finally cleared the audition and joined the company as a trainee. Kim has previously featured on Boy band Enhypen’s 2021 Music Video Drunk Daze. As of 2020, Kim has been embroiled in serious bullying allegations against her.

When she was revealed as one of the debuting members of LE SSERAFIM on April 5th this year, the first allegations against her were made of being a bully. HYBE crushed these allegations calling it slander and that, in fact, it was Kim who had been bullied in school.

On May 16th when a photo was released of an official document of a school violation committee stating Kim to be a bully, HYBE maintained their stance that they would sue the said person for defamation against Kim.

However, an alleged victim came forward reasserting their claim of Kim being a bully and made it clear through their legal representative that if HYBE would not release an apology, the entire document would be published online. As of May 20th, Kim has taken a hiatus from her group activities until the matter is sorted out.
