Kelsey was born under the name Kelsey Asbille Chow on September 9, 1991. Chow has a Chinese father, Jim Chow, and an American mother named Jean Chow. Her father is the son of a Chinese immigrant couple, and her mother descends from White and Indigenous American ethnicity.
