Lewis was born on June 2, 1973, in Woodland Hills, California. Her father is an actor named Geoffrey Lewis, and her mother, Glenis Duggan Batley, is a graphic designer. Lewis was two years old when her parents got divorced. She has six siblings – Peter, Miles, Lightfeld, Hannah, Brandy, and Emily – and two half-siblings – Matthew and Deirdre.
