She was born on July 20, 1988, in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA and her full name is Julianna Alexandra Hough. She is very talented since her childhood. She belongs to a well-established family.
She has 5 siblings and Julianna is the youngest of them all. Her father was elected chairman of the Utah Republic Party twice. Her brother Derek Hough is also a very renowned dancer. Her grandparents were also popular dancers. From her childhood and by the tradition of her family she cherished the love for dance in her mind.

Officially her dance practice started when she was only nine years old. After that when she turned to 10 years old her parents decided to divorce. So before the divorce, her parents sent Julianna and her brother Derek to London to do study and dance practice perfectly.

She and her brother learned singing, theatre, gymnastics and various forms of dance including jazz, ballet, and tap. She completed her graduation from Las Vegas Academy Alta High school. At the age of only 15, she was able to win both Junior World Latin Champion and International Latin Youth Champion at Blackpool Dance Festival.

But as she started to be a young girl she was facing lots of problems. That’s why after facing so many mental, physical and other torture she decided to leave the UK and returned to the USA. After returning to America she moved on so fast.

She is best known for winning the champion trophy twice in ABC’s most famous dance show “Dancing With the Stars”. In 2007, she was nominated for the prestigious Emmy award for best Choreography in season five of the show. Her first film was super-duper hit and critics have praised her acting. The movie was a remake of the 80’s movie Footloose.
