Jennifer Joanne Metcalfe, an English actress, was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, on September 4, 1983. She grew up on the Holme Wood housing estate. She began performing at the age of 12 after attending the Scala Kids drama school.

Metcalfe was the seventh celebrity removed from the sixth series of ITV’s winter sports programme Dancing on Ice, where she was partnered with Sylvain Longchambon and was announced on December 19, 2010.

In August of 2014, Metcalfe left Hollyoaks. On November 18th, her character was killed off and left. Metcalfe had a brief return in February 2015, when her character was discovered to be alive, and it was confirmed that she will be back permanently.

She has been adjudged the Sexiest Female in British Soap Awards in 2007 to 2015 subsequently, and has been adjudged as the Best Actress at the British Soap Awards from 2009, right up to 2020. She was also awarded the Best On-Screen Partnership (With Joseph Thompson) at the 2014 British Soap Awards.
