Now, we agree that J.J may not be creatively involved in the future expansion of the Star Wars franchise, but he is still part of the team, plus he is the guy who was able to revive back the Star Wars name and fame after the chaos prequels had ensued on the franchise. His words still, holds a lot of value and credibility. One such example is, recently he hinted that Chris Hemsworth is going reprise his role in the Star Trek movies and on the next day the studio confirmed this news, so yes, his words are still biblical.
Now whether we are going to see full blown movie dedicated to the Knights of Ren is still a mystery, but we can assure our readers that if J.J has talked about it then definitely they are cooking something back in the Kitchen with Lucasfilms and Disney. Only time would tell that in what form we are going to see the fable of Knights of Ren, is it going to be animated show? A novel? Part of Sequels? A new game? A new movie series?
