Hayden Christensen’s younger version of Darth Vader had to face harsh criticism with Star Wars Prequels. Even though he was considered one of the best young actors of his time, the fandom literally butchered him for his role.
As the years passed, people realized that it was not his acting but the way he was asked to act in the film. It was not his fault, this is how script asked him to be, and the decisions that his character took in the movies is not the actor’s lapse.
However, it was too late, all the negativity poured by disgruntled Star Wars fanatics and constant pointless criticism forced him to seclude from the industry as he pretty much stopped taking any significant roles in the films. He was offered many important roles even in the Marvel movies, but he just kept turning them down. He made sure that he keeps his distance from mainstream films.
But it looks like, Hayden is going to make a comeback in Star Wars universe once again. A Youtuber, who goes by the name Mike Zeroh reported Hayden was spotted at the Pinewood Studios, where “The Last Jedi’s” shooting is happening. Why are we covering news from a Youtuber? Well, Mike’s previous leaks regarding the Star Wars trailers and other stuff were spot on, and that’s the reason, we keep seeing all the major media houses quoting him.
Hayden’s presence during the Star Wars 40th Anniversary celebrations also hints that the makers are somehow trying to prepare the audience for his comeback.
Now, the burning question is that what role he is going to play in Episode 8? According to the fans and the theorists, he is going to be a force ghost, and it seems logical as well.
We hope that this rumor is true, and we get to see Hayden back as Vader in the upcoming Star Wars movies. There are other speculations on the return of Frank Oz as Yoda in Episode 8, which Frank had indirectly confirmed. In an interview when he was asked if Yoda is going to be in the “The Last Jedi, ” and he responded:-
“I feel like I’m a prisoner of war here, and I can only give you my name, rank, and serial number. To be true to the people who asked me, and they are kind of my family, I have to say I’ve been asked not to talk about it. I love Yoda. I would be happy to talk to you about it at the time they let me.”
