There was a significant commotion in the Star Wars people group when Lucasfilm had declared that it had ousted Han Solo directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller after it chose that the “creative differences” between the two movie producers and the studio had turned out to be excessively insufferable.

In spite of the fact that things have begun to settle now that Lucasfilm has Award-winning director Ron Howard to assume Lord and Miller’s role in the Han Solo production, new reports uncover that Disney executives had really appreciated a sizzle reel of the Star Wars spinoff that was displayed to them by the directorial twosome a while ago.

As per a report by Star Wars News Net, Miller and Lord had displayed Disney licensees a sizzle reel of Han Solo in May and for reasons unknown, reviews had been greatly positive. Alden Ehrenreich’s execution as Han Solo and Donald Glover’s rendition of Lando Calrissian had been the key highlights of the reel.

This bit comes to a couple of days after THR uncovered that Lord and Miller weren’t directing Ehrenreich very well, to such an extent that the studio needed to have an acting mentor brought to set to help the Hail! Caesar star.

Despite the fact that the two stories appear to negate each other, it’s conceivable that Disney had really loved Ehrenreich’s understanding of the famous smuggler and had simply needed the on-actor to chip away at specific parts of his execution and remain in accordance with Harrison Ford’s variant of Han Solo. We trust that that is the situation. In this manner, Star Wars fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

Han Solo advances towards the big screen on 25th May, 2018.
