After a long wait, the initial teaser trailer for Avengers: Infinity War came out online last month and immediately shattered records on its way to becoming the most watched trailer ever. Stuffed with Avengers, fight, grim tone and a lot of mysterious teases about the contents of the film, the trailer wasn’t too revealing, but, it built the platform for further teasers and the movie.
It was quite expected to see various creative adaptations of the trailer from fans during the last one month or so. One fan imagined the trailer in Disney style, and another fan gave an animated twist to it. While the adaptations continue, a new exciting version has been shared by River A.C.E. who has shortened the trailer to make it a TV spot, with fresh music and some modifications which only make it way more cooler than the initial original version.
This trailer is primarily focused on Thanos (Josh Brolin), who is all set to be the mightiest and nastiest threat ever faced by the Avengers. Over the weekend Joe Russo revealed that Infinity War is being hyped as a Thanos movie because it will reveal the various layers of the character, which is driven by strong motivations.
“I think he’s a very interesting and complex villain,” Russo said. “That’s why I like him. That’s why I’m excited for the audience to learn about him. I think his motivations, albeit psychotic, are compelling. And I think that in a lot of ways this is his movie, so it’s going to be very interesting to see how people respond to Thanos in the film.”
Coming back to this trailer which is a must watch. Agreed, it doesn’t showcase any new footage, but, the music is superb, and the enhanced focus on Thanos and the mega threat he brings on board makes you feel that the stakes are really high. In any case, it will help stay afloat till the time Marvel comes out with something fresh, maybe in a couple of weeks.
Since ESPN (a Disney property) is going to air the College Football National Championship game on January 8, a section of fans is expecting the studio to reveal the next Avengers: Infinity War trailer during the event. That’s pure speculation right now, but, either way, we don’t think that it would be much longer before the most-anticipated film of the year gets another trailer.
