Today, the Dragon Ball fandom is mourning the loss of Hiromi Tsuru who passed away in Japan. The actress is best-known for voicing Bulma and was 57 when she died.
Otokamu and Esuteru have given stills taken from Japanese news reports covering the star’s death. The reports indicate that Tsuru had passed away in her car. She was rushed to the hospital but was then declared dead when she was brought in for treatment. There was no sign of Tsuru been in a car accident.
She was born in November 1960 and got her start in the 1970s voicing a character in The Story of Perrine. Tsuru then played characters in Ranma 1/2, Miyuki, Trigun, and many more.
Dragon Ball fans will know Tsuru for her work as Bulma in the series. The actress started voicing the Capsule Corp heiress in 1986 with Dragon Ball where she played Child Piccolo Jr. Tsuru stayed with Bulma throughout Dragon Ball Z until Dragon Ball Super which is in production.
