It is no secret that Henry Cavill’s hero will surely make a return from the grave at some point, but the occasional piece of promo art aside, Warner Bros. has made it a point to keep the Man of Steel out of Justice League photos. But with the film set to open in less than a week, a new behind the scenes photo has surfaced with a smiling Cavill joining an obviously thrilled Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), a grinning Ben Affleck (Batman) and the rest of the team.
With less than seven days left before the movie finally arrives in theaters, it’s probably a safe bet that this won’t be the last piece of Superman/Justice League revelation, though the sight of a smiling Man of Steel might very well be final bit of convincing some fans need to get them excited for the film.
Justice League hits theaters on Nov. 17 and stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Ciarán Hinds as Steppenwolf, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
