In January 2020, the American politician Alexandria announced the formation of a PAC Courage to Change. They announced their first endorsement of Democrat in February 2020. Some progressive commentators criticized Alexandria for endorsing two Democratic primary challengers.
She took birth on 13th October 1989 in New York City, in the U.S. Her parents are Blanca Ocasio-Cortez and Sergio Ocasio. When she was five years old, her family moved to Yorktown Heights.

Alexandria is one of the first female members of the Democratic Socialists of America who was chosen to serve in Congress. She supports the progressive platforms, including the federal jobs guarantee, the Green New Deal, Medicare for All, the abolishing the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, etc.
Currently, Alexandria is in a relationship with a web developer Riley Roberts. She resides in Parkchester Bronx with her partner. In 2020, Alexandria served as a guest judge on an episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race. In 2018, she won the Adelle Foley Award.
