If you are one of those who have wondered what a trailer for an X-Men/Avengers movie may look like, YouTuber Alex Luthor has got this done for you.
Like Marvel’s The Avengers had hit theaters by 2012 and broke records and became one of the highest-grossing movies of all time, Marvel’s comics had released its very first issues of Avengers vs. X-Men. This miniseries pitted earth’s mightiest heroes against a team whose sales in the ’90s had helped keep the company afloat during the worst years.
The series included the main title and other tie-ins and had been orchestrated by Matt Fraction, Brian Michael Bendis, Ed Brubaker, Jonathan Hickman and Jason Aaron, and artists Olivier Coipel, Adam Kubert and John Jr. Romita. It had turned out to be a huge seller for the publisher.
But it did not have to be popular or even good for that matter. Having been announced before, the first fans were hoping that they may see a few versions of it on the silver screen.
Five years later, the possibility of the fans getting to see Avengers and the X-Men on the same screen seems like a possibility with Disney moving having bought Fox.
The X-Men are now outside of the MCU, and the X-Men are preparing for its second movie of the Dark Phoenix Saga. Fox’s Marvel plans are now being limited to Deadpool, X-Force, and New Mutants.
