Guardians of the Galaxy director, James Gunn has pleaded with the fans of MCU and DCEU to end the rivalry. Gunn’s pleas have fallen on deaf ears with a fan-made poster that depicts the Justice League members killing our beloved Marvel heroes. This was the official marketing material at a few Chinese cinemas.
The poster features Superman crushing Ant-Man and Flash standing on Captain America’s head. Batman is shown holding Thor’s head and Wolverine is on his knees with wounds. Deadpool can be seen on Aquaman’s trident and a dismembered Iron Man is strewn in the fan-made doctoring of the Justice League poster.
The poster had been used in many Chinese theatres, on iQiyi even the ticket sales app Wanda Cinema. This poster was removed from iQiyi and recent reports indicate that the cinema chains are removing these posters.
