6 Killer Droids In The History Of Star Wars.

5. PROXY (The Force Unleashed)

PROXY, the training droid, was a special holo droid. As it is, through programming, he could approximate (do you get that? apPROXImate?) the look and battling styles of renowned lightsaber duelists, including Darth Maul, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, BobaFett, and numerous others.

He was a supporting character in the exceptionally popular Legends story Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. This occurred in computer games, novelizations, and graphic novels. He had been programmed to help Galen “Starkiller” Marek, the mystery apprentice of Darth Vader in that non-canon world, figure out how to battle and enhance his skills. Regardless of a profound individual association and love for Starkiller, PROXY was programmed with the goal of killing Marek, generally at the most unfavorable times conceivable.

A fun fact is that PROXY was voiced by David W. Collins. He was the sound editorial manager on this game and a long-term sound editor and now voice performing artist (and a successive Star Wars Celebration host) for Lucasfilm. He was made at the command of none other than George Lucas, who knew the value of a comedic relief character.

6. Mister Bones (Star Wars: Aftermath)

He is a re-programmed and re-manufactured B1 fight droid. Being the cannon fodder of the Clone Wars, B1s weren’t much to talk about. They were utilized more in numbers instead of in any specific skill level. After the Galactic Civil War, a venturesome young fellow named TemminWexley (who grew up to be “Snap,” an able pilot for the Resistance at the time of The Force Awakens) scavenged the B1 droid, replaced his parts with real bones and reconstructed the droid. His story happens in the Aftermath series of the novels.

Mister Bones was a great deal more skilled than the B1s. This was because of extra programs put in by Wexley that included advanced martial fighting, dancing for further movement abilities, a Vibro-blade, and another obscure programming. His identity was a blend of an exemplary B1 and a portion of the twistedness of a Triple Zero style droid. This had him making the most of his battle tasks.
