3. BX-Series (Prequel Trilogy)
The BX-series droid commandos were one of a few advanced and world class models of droids. They were used during the war between the Separatists and the Old Republic that prompted the beginning of the Empire. Their abilities included infiltration, modulation of voice, great speed, power, and armor.
Different BX models could utilize electro-staff weapons or Vibroswords to stand their ground against Jedi. However, the routinely outfitted models with rifles were more normal. The much more advanced and fearsome IG-100 MagnaGuard droid was utilized as the immediate bodyguard of General Grievous. Furthermore, they are the forerunners to a couple of non-canon droids.
4. Beetee and Triple Zero (Darth Vader Comics)
Ever thought what it would be like to have an R2-D2 and C-3PO that were crazy sociopaths keen on killing people? Meet BT-1 and 0-0-0, the two droids presented in the Darth Vader comic book from Marvel Comics.
These droids work for Doctor Aphra and her own master, Darth Vader. After being decommissioned from the “Tarkin Initiative,” Aphra reactivated them and put them into the service of the Sith Lord.
With a very advanced torment programming and weaponry, they’re extremely effective at their fundamental programming and killing individuals, which they really enjoy doing.
What’s particularly astounding and off-putting about this pair, is that they have the same adorableness of Artoo and Threepio. However, this is clubbed with their psychotic mind-set. It makes for some incredible dark comedy. Furthermore, Triple Zero’s personality and style appears to be close to Kaytoo’s. However, the latter will presumably be somewhat less of a neurotic.
