10 Messed Up Cartoons.

2. Courage the Cowardly Dog

I don’t know why Courage is alluded to as being ‘fainthearted’. According to me, he’s holding things together pretty well considering the horrors he is subjected to every day. Right up ’til the present time, a whole era of grown-ups can be crippled to the point of frosty sweat by the expression, “Return the slab… “

Courage merits an award when you consider that even his dreams were haunted by animals that seemed as though they were kicked out of a Dougal Dixon book. Whoever put up this show it for a day time slot on Cartoon Network clearly abhorred kids and wanted them to grow up to be mentally contorted. It worked.

1. Dragonball Z

How would you be able to best portray Dragonball Z? It’s a Japanese show that includes bunches of yelling, reviling and super-fuelled individuals banging the hell out of each other for a considerable length of time. You know, that’s the sort of stuff that children like. Never reluctant to winnow its cast, DBZ included numerous deaths and much fierceness. Nevertheless, I don’t think anything compares to seeing the villain being transformed into a biscuit and then being eaten up by some fat pink thing with a weird phallus coming out of the back of its head.
