1. SHADOWS OF THE EMPIRE
This is the best single-book Star Wars story ever. In addition to this, it’s a standout amongst the best multimedia ventures in recent history. In 1996, Lucasfilm chose to pen down a story between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi as an approach to build hype for the forthcoming Star Wars prequels. The story appeared as a novel, various comic series, and a computer game of a similar name. The majority of the distinctive versions tied in with the overall story of Shadows of the Empire. However, they also managed to uphold their own.
Luke, Leia, Chewie, and Lando are all attempting to chase down Boba Fett before he can deliver Han Solo to Jabba. In the meantime, a few of the galaxy’s other bounty hunters are attempting to do the same. Somewhere else in the galaxy, the Emperor orders Darth Vader to work with the crime master Prince Xizor to securely deliver the plans for the second Death Star. Xizor gets to know that Luke is Vader’s son and sees an opportunity. That is, in case he executes the Jedi and discredits the Sith Lord, Palpatine may give him a place of power in the Empire. In this manner a power battle begins between the two baddies. This series presented the well-known characters of Dash Rendar and Xizor while concentrating on what our most loved Star Wars characters were up to in this era. It goes up to Return of the Jedi, finishing with Luke recording his message to Jabba and putting his lightsaber in R2.
