7. THE X-WING BOOKS
Despite the fact that he was missing from The Force Awakens, Rebel pilot Wedge Antilles has been a staple of Star Wars legend since his appearance in the first film. However, very few titles have been composed about the highly adored legend. A large portion of his appearances in the Expanded Universe came as a secondary character to the Skywalker group and their friend network. This was changed in 1996, when Michael Stackpole composed the main book in the X-Wing series. From that point forward, there have been ten books relesead after Wedge and his dedicated pilots.
Six years after the Battle of Endor, the New Republic has been formed. Inside its military, Wedge Antilles has been picked to lead an improved Rogue Squadron. The initial four books are about the development of the group, and their challenging assault and control over the Imperial capital of Coruscant. Thereafter, the series changes gears and concentrates more on the individual missions of Antilles’ group, with just a loose associating story of the Galactic Civil War and a couple of recurring villains to link them together. 6. THE OLD REPUBLIC: REVAN
How can we not mention Darth Revan? Revan was a character made for the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic computer games.
