Critics are praising on Thor: Ragnarok in a 30-second spot for this upcoming film. With less than 2 weeks for the release of this God of Thunder’s third film, the hype for Ragnarok is at a fever pitch.

New images for this film are being released and hitting the mark with fans and reviews from critics say that Thor: Ragnarok is the best Thor film yet.

A part of Marvel Studios’ “31 Days of HelaWeen” celebration had promised Thor: Raganarok content throughout October and the studio on Saturday has released a new 30-second TV spot that shows the critical acclaim that it has got from critics. The spot is a mix of a footage that was released in the past few months featuring likes of Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Hela (Cate Blanchett), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Heimdall (Idris Elba), with snippets of a footage from this film; including the narration from Odin (Anthony Hopkins), who has been absent from the movie’s promos.

In the spot, Odin can be hear saying, “Asgard is not a place,” to which Thor replies, “It’s a people.”

Accompanying the spot are a few quotes from THR (“A Majestic Spectacle”), EW (“A Triumph”) and Empire (“The Boldest Marvel Film Yet”). The last quote speaks a lot about Thor: Ragnarok, and suggests Waititi’s daring approach to this MCU character. From the movie’s first teaser trailer in April, it has become clear that Waititi wanted to give Thor a fresh playground to wield his mjolnir and went far and let his performers seize the moments on camera.

While every director’s style is different, Waititi’s influence will rub off on future MCU films. Thor: Ragnarok seems to promise a lot and the director is showing that there is a whole lot of room for energetic creativity.
