3. Harold Ramis
Then: The multi-talented writer/actor/director Harold Ramis wrote Animal House, Meatballs,Caddyshack and Stripes(in which he co-starred) before Ghostbusters materialized. He also the director of the first National Lampoon’s Vacation.
Now: Even today in Hollywood, he is not considered a has-been. He is still active and has a major presence in Hollywood. He was the co-writer and director ofGroundhog Day and Analyze This among other films. He has also appeared in As Good as It Gets, Orange County and Knocked Up.And recently he’s helmed episodes of The Office while discussions of Ghostbusters 3is ongoing.
4. Ernie Hudson
Then: Ernie Hudson took up and portrayed the role of Winston brilliantly. Before that, Hudson had acted in ‘Fantasy Island,’ ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ and ‘The A-Team’(the 1983-87 TV Series not the 2010 movie).
Now: The standout trait about Hudson is his likeable persona. That was the quality he brought on the table on films such as‘Airheads’ and ‘Congo.’ Rather than the big screen, he has been particularly busy on the small screen. He has elevated the quality of shows like ‘Guys with Kids,’ ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’ and ‘Transformers Prime.’
