As per the producer and DJ, talks are going on to revive the TV series that kickstarted the acting career of superstar Will Smith.
Jazzy Jeff, the star of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air shared that the talks have taken place to bring back the 90s TV show.
The producer laid to rest years of rumors and said that the time had come to once again have a look at the NBC series aired between 1990-1996.
Jazzy whose real name is Jeffrey Allen Townes once again joined on stage, his former co-star Will Smith after a gap of two decades when they met at The Livewire Festival in Blackwool late in August.
He said: “There have been talks with people about doing something. I think it would be cool if they did it and go down memory lane again.
“It’s a blessing to be part of something that people still hold in high regard. You can’t beat that.
“It’s hard for people to keep their attention span normally, but to be able to keep it for all these years and transcend generations, put their kids onto it, this is deep.”
As per him, there have been discussions to bring back the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
Fresh Prince of Bel Air was the show with which Will Smith started his acting career.
The revival rumors had gained momentum since March, when the Fresh Prince’s cast members Will Smith, Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Daphne Reid and Joseph Marcell were seen dining together at Nobu in Malibu more than 20 years after the show went off air.
