There are two Justice League post-credit sequences, but the original ones look very different.

The visual effects artist, LDN_Film who had worked on Wonder Woman had taken to Reddit and answered a few questions about Justice League. One of the topics had involved the original post-credits scene, which featured Green Lanterns.

“The original after credit scene that was shot in principal photography was Bruce being woken in the night in his lake house by a green light and being visited by Tomar Re and Kilowog. It was cut fairly early on during post,” LDN_Film said.

Multiple had leaked a few deleted scenes that hit the Internet recently, and it confirmed one of LDN_Film’s reveals, so this may be true.

Now two Green Lanterns showed up in the final movie, but it was during a flashback and showed the battle between the Amazons, Atlanteans, and Steppenwolf’s forces. Having two Green Lanterns in the scene will have been a big deal, and while the fans are not sure what the dialogue was.

They would have addressed why there was not a Green Lantern on Earth to help repel Steppenwolf’s takeover, a specific reason that had he mentioned when targeting Earth now.

Tomar-Re and Kilowog are fan favorites of the Green Lantern Corps and were featured in the original Green Lantern movie. Tomar-Re is from Xudar and is revered years after the death as the planet’s shining beacon of what it could accomplish. He helped Hal Jordan throughout the years like Kilowog.

Speaking of Kilowog, he has often served as the training officer of recruits to the Green Lantern Corps. He’s one of the most powerful Lanterns, but once you earn his trust, he’s also one of the most loyal and will do anything to keep the Corps strong. He’s trained most of the Earth origin Lanterns, which makes sense since he’s also one of the most powerful Lanterns on the roster.

Justice League is in theaters now.
