While there is yet to be any official review or reaction from those who are fortunate to see Justice League in advance, one character is testing well. As hard as DC has tried, some reactions have leaked online, and DC Batman was not the fan-favorite.

The Fastest Fan-Favorite Alive!

As reported by Inverse, comic scribe and #DC Films chairman Geoff Johns had shown a new Justice League trailer to the attendees of the National Association of Theater Owners Fall Summit and spoke about the upcoming movie. One of them was Chris Sylvia, Regal Cinema’s vice president who tweeted Johns’ thoughts.

Johns said that Barry Allen a.k.a. #TheFlash (Ezra Miller) was a fan-favorite based on the test screenings DC, and Warner Brothers had held this year. Check out the now-deleted tweet below.

In the trailers, Flash is depicted as a naive newcomer. Because he does not take things as seriously as the others, Flash will be the one who says witty remarks and provides comic relief.

This makes it easier for viewers to lean towards him, which explains how the Flash became a fan favorite. Combined with the movie’s early positive buzz, this is great news for Justice League and a troubled DC Extended Universe (#DCEU).

What Could This Mean For The Flash And The DCEU?

Based on the test screenings and the positive reception of Miller’s portrayal, the Flash might have a great future in the DCEU. If he gets so much love when Justice League hits cinemas later this year, it may make DC prioritize the upcoming #Flashpoint movie.

Similarly, #Batman and #WonderWoman (Gal Gadot) were loved by viewers of the otherwise divisive Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, leading DC to fast-track their respective solo movies.

While Matt Reeves’ The Batman continues to make progress in its conceptual stages, Wonder Woman became a critical and financial success and led to the Amazon warrior taking the center stage in the promotional material for Justice League.

In contrast, the DCEU’s take on Superman (Henry Cavill) has been criticized for being morose in comparison to the previous interpretations. This is believed to be the reason why less news regarding Man of Steel 2 has surfaced.

Yes, audiences will be judging the Flash and the Justice League when the movie hits cinemas on November 17, 2017. If early feedback is anything to go by, Flash may be one of the many good things in DC’s biggest movie to date.
