Simoné Botha Welgemoed is a beautiful actress, model, aerialist, teacher, choreographer, film stunt performer, a global ambassador as well as deaf advocate. She is popularly known for her beauty queen championship as Miss Deaf South Africa and she is also the world’s first deaf professional ballerina who has a cochlear implant.
Simone has not only withstood the odds in the very competitive world of international dance she has also done so much great which is beyond everybody’s expectations and anticipations. Simoné’s ballet profession kicked off when she was just 6-year-old dancing the part of the little angel in the show called The Nutcracker with Cape Town City Ballet which is South Africa’s premier ballet company.
